Monitor AC voltage and current with Powerino

Powerino can record many variables about our electric plant on a SD card.

  • Date and time;
  • Rms values of current and voltage;
  • Apparent power (Watt) averaged every minute with its maximum and minimum values.
  • Real power (Watt) averaged every minute with its maximum and minimum values.
Here you can see an example of Powerino output.
Furthermore, adding a buzzer, it can alert when the power rise beyond a fixed value.

I made Powerino with the basic help of a very interesting site:

Powerino uses a current sensor transformer (non invasive) and reads the instant voltage from its power supply AC adaptor. It uses an Arduino 2009 and a Data Logger Shield by Adafruit Industries
